Locating Vendetta button on Exocet

Post by Aero320 »

I am getting ready to install the Vendetta rangefinder on my Exocet 200. Have the mounting bracket that attaches to the scope rail on order also. Where are you attaching the button and how is the wire routed so that the operation of the bow is not affected?

I'm sure there are several ways of doing this. But this is how I wound up doing mine.

How did you attach the button to the side?

Small dab of superglue. I removed it from an earlier placement, reapplied, no problem.

Thanks!

It looks like you are using a Weaver rimfire scope ring to clamp the end of the bracket on the Vendetta base plate. Is that correct?

A friend of mine has his located in the pistol grip area of the stock . Not sure how it is routed . It is out of the way and convenient to use . He is gone hunting right now --- will try to get a picture when he returns .

Aero- You are correct about the ring. I fiddled around with the Vendetta brackett and it lines up pretty good. After several shots it can vibrate out of alignment slightly. I usualy check mine prior to heading out or just after settling in, takes about a minute.

Got the Vendetta installed and aligned. Also dialed in the Lumi-zone. Went to different places in the yard, ranged the target and made the shot. Every arrow was in the bullseye.
