Bushnell warranty sucks

Well my son sent our bushnell 4x12 elite adj ao off for the second time to be fixed . it was never clear an was sent in for that reason and they said they fixed it an was no better than before so we put up with it for awhile then the adjustments started giving problems an we sent it back again an explaining the problems an got it back saying there was nothing wrong . we had bought this scope new an what a piece of crap! just like the 280.00 binocs I had years ago that failed an they wanted almost full price to fix . won,t ever see any of us ever buy anyting with the bushnell name ever

$280 is pretty cheap for binocs. You get what you pay for.

Well I have some leupold an Nikon binocs in that price range an don,t seem there that far off from any high dollar ones same as my scopes in leupold an Nikon an they have great warranty s same as my Excalibur scopes . can,t say the same for bushnell anymore.

I bought a camera two years ago and after six months, it was taking pics but there was nothing on the disk. I sent it back and within a week I had a brand new one, in fact a better one, in the mail and it has been working like a charm.

So very sorry for all your troubles. Reminds me of an old steel weaver scope I had got it fixed one time then the company went out or under for awhile couldn't get it fixed. That sure does suck!

Sorry to hear of your scope problems . Ive sent back scopes to just about all the scope manufactors . Burris,Zeiss, Leupold,Excal, and a pair of Nikon Bino's .Cost of a scope has little to do with it . I usually just throw the cheap ones in the trash ! If its man made its flawed !

I have had some sorry Bushnells but i have also had some great ones. Their warranty isn't & C S too good, kinda like Barnett

had problems with bushnell game camera sent it back . they sent a new one and 10 sd cards had great service.

Never had to use their service department for products I own, right now it is an Elite 6500 that rocks, and a pair of binocs that has been through the gates of hell, and still the best optics I have looked through.
I buy every Bushnell I can find at garage sales, drive them to the warranty depot and in a matter of minutes I am going home with a new, in the box scope.
There are horror stories out there about their service, but I have never had a bad experience.
The thing that you have to remember is that they sell a scope for every 1000 every other company sells, they can be bought at every store, in every country. I would guess that slows them down a bit with the cheap stuff.
My opinion, is that Bushnell should separate their warranty center for the better optics from the $40 scopes at wallmart. If my 6500 goes down to a problem, it costs me work time, but to this date, it has not happened.
Regardless of the seller, or the product name, I hope any issues are resolved.
Too bad the world doesn't have more companies that stand behind their products, like Zippo, Excalibur, Buck Knives..
Could you imagine if a car company had the same diligence to warranties as some of the heavy hitters of the warranty world? Always smile when I think about Excalibur producing a vehicle..

I've heard horror stories on wait times to get warranty items back Bushnell the last few years, its too bad because years ago I had sent in a ten year old scope Trophy that leaked on me and it was just before deer season and the sent me a better model Elite to replace it by courier and I had it in two days, awesome service. Also had them replace some old bino's which were replaced in just a couple weeks.

I wonder if their service suffered because the company that owns Bushnell also aquired Tasco, Uncle Mikes and Butler Creek and I believe a couple more companies.

I have had Bushnell not even honor warranty work, said that model was discontinued. So they ask me if'en i want to buy a newer model. Their Kansas Plant sucks!

Seems to be the normal anymore, everything's warrantied until ya open the box, then your on your own.

Last time I sent a burris back I couldn't even talk to anyone on the phone ! And it was a 500 dollar scope going back for the second time for the same thing ! I'll never buy another one ! Any scope can go bad but how its handled by the manufacter when you have problems is what matters .
