Post by strum »

I have hunted a total of 8 times since opening day..
3 different places. all great spots. deer crap everywhere..
so far ziltch, zippo, nadda, no show -----
I have not seen a deer yet :(
I hunted this morn till 11am.. when I got down I did a quick look around.
Crap all over the place.. maybe its the moon? they coming in at night?
who knows ..but I know one thing.

Crap everywhere is usually a good sign.
Put up a trail cam and back out for a couple days?

Keep it up and you'll get one.The odds favor you!
If you shot a deer every time out it wouldn't be any fun.

If you can, hunt from 9 to 4.
My best time to be out.

That's certainly why they call it hunting. I pulled the memory card from my trail camera on the way to my stand yesterday. While I was in my stand I checked the pictures and noticed a deer had walked by just after 6pm on the three previous days.

Well, it didn't walk by on the fourth day. I'll try again tomorrow.
