Serving wax goes on the centre serving. I was advised to use candle wax on my Ibex. Rub it on and then rub the serving vigorously with your fingers so the wax goes into the serving wraps. I was told it doesn't pick up dust and grit like beeswax (which is used on the string itself).

Happy to be corrected if someone knows better.

I don't knowed which wax is better, i do knowed unless yer Excal is in a vaccumless sealed container there will be dust the settles on it! Facts that lots of dust is so small yer eyes cannot even see it
