S5 SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Post by bigbuckonly1 »

Just wondering if the S5 shock sound suppression system would really help quiet my vortex- any help on this from you would be welcomed. Thanks.
Take time to enjoy each & everyday that GOD has given us- be thankful.

You'll get maximum benefit from the s5's if you mill down the balls that hold the rubber stopper by 1/3. It extends bumper life and improves vibration dampening. Did this for my m380 and my Nox and there is a noticeable difference...a tip I learned here and that I'm happy to pass along.

They are worth the investment.

I put em on my exocet and it made a noticable difference. it's far from quiet, but it is improved. And I like the potential protection from limb damage in the event of an accidental dry fire (though i haven't tested that one yet).

Oh...and they look cool, too.

I was looking into these for my Vortex as well. Interested to see more opinions.

Thanks,

I put them on my Ibex and noticed very little difference. Maybe a little in vibration, but not much of anything noise wise. It is useful in case of dryfire, but thats about it in my opinion.
