In Ontario if it is Archery Only Season you can not carry any other weapon if you are participating in that Archery only season even if your able to say grouse hunt. NO GUNS AT ALL IN ARCHERY ONLY SEASON

Yes thanks tom I 'm aware of that thus my comment.I'm certain a CO would have zero tolerance in such a circumstance.

:lol: Fred I figured that you did, but there are others out there that think otherwise so I thought it be best to make sure others would not mistake your meaning. I have come across many hunting moose in archery only seasons and carrying a gun for Bear Hunting or grouse hunting.

I have the privilege in Michigan to conceal carry anytime. I carry during fishing, archery only, hiking, whatever. The rule is I am carrying the firearm under conceal carry laws not using it to take game. It's for protection.

You can play dead with a Interior Grizzly or Brown Bear but never with a Black Bear. :wink:

Hopefully I would have a chance to throw a well placed broadhead into him/her before it gets up close and personal. :)
