Put the snow fences up yesterday and they are working. It's snowing as we speak. Didn't know they were supposed to work like that.Should have extended the sun awning.

26 degrees, overcast, expected to stay that way all week, then more precip this coming WE. Will be sitting tonite to watch for prerut but it's more affected by length of daylight than temp.

Rut is determined by the shorter day's and moon phase too, From what iv'e read through out the year's.

Very true, but, nothing like a snow storm to get the bucks excited an out moving!
They've just been layin back around here weather's been to nice, darn full moon, not even seeing em around the apple trees.
We have snow flurries predicted this week, I'll be out.

We've got some Northern NY style bow season weather coming the middle of the week here in the mtns of NC, 29 for a couple nites and then 32 for the evenings. A bit early but better deer hunting weather for sure.

Here in ga it's finally gonna be good weather for deer hunting.30's they say in the am's.Hope it stay's that way fer a while .
