As you say, to each there own. I for one lost the desire to tinker with my bow hunting equipment years ago, that's why I made the move to "The dark side"!
I can get it dialed in and go HUNT! I used to enjoy target shooting and tinkering with my bow, but C'est la vie..... 
As long as it's hunting accurate I'm a happy camper. I wasn't trying to poo-poo anyone else's tinkering!
