Xcalibur What a guy

Post by Tattydaddy2 »

I'm sure all that know him know what I gonna say.. Started a thread bout string leeches, new member here first off, and new to crossbow, ok bak to story, Dan gave sum advice on whiskers n said to email him. So I did which led to small talk, which led to me stating I Hav stock string n in need of a new, Flemish style, upon reading post I realized he built custom strings, well now I Hav two of his personal strings heading my way to use, who does that to a "stranger". Just gotta say awesome, thnx, n kudos to Dan, I've read alot similar stories on here n see why a well liked guy, will definately b spreading the word here in New England n will b placing an order soon, thnx again Dan

Oh I know, just kiddin too. My bow is wearing one of Dan's strings, I'm very pleased with it, even ordered another for a spare. He was super helpful in every respect, great service along with a great product. If I could just get some #!@& deer within bow range I'd love to put it to work! :D

You can't go wrong with Dan's (xcaliber) custom flemish strings. Great guy, inexpensive pricing and ships fast. He waxes them well, so they stretch a little as the wax squeezes out.

My Matrix 355 only wears Dan's custom flemish strings and its very accurate if I do my part.

Pic's below are one of Dan's strings on my Matrix 355. 36 strands of Brownell XS2 in cranberry and cedar colors. Also used Brownell 0.36 crossbow serving in black color.

Dan sent me a free string too for my 355.
I had him make a Green Bay Packer's string.
You need a Patriot's string!
Dan's a good guy but his only downfall is he's
a Bear's fan!

xcaliber wrote:Oh, since we're playing, maybe your string is slower than you think. That could be why you shot under that doe.
Or, just maybe you are trying to be nice, so you gave her a warning shot.
I am sure your buddies will want facts too! If you need chronograph results, let me know. We tested several of mine, and others too.
This is fun.
Those are some good ones I was just razzin the new guy and we got carried away no harm meant :D
