Wow What a Difference.

Post by FNARSCOT »

Xcaliber sent me one of his Flemmish strings to try. WOW what a difference. I went with black and grey on my 380 blackout the whiskers are greenish Look great. The whiskers are 5" from the tips .Put it on this morning and shot a 40 yds. offhand Holy Cow .Quiet, smooth, no more TWANG I'm a happy camper. I am going to leave it cocked over night. Check brace height, adjust if needed and shoot it at 50 to check P.O.I . off the bench. Xcaliber as long as you are making strings You have a customer. Thanks Brother! The coolest thing is my next string from him is 1/2 price because he sent this FREE. Talk about putting your money where your mouth is. This site is full of great guys. Hope to be as helpful as you all in the future.

Congratulations on a super string.

Dan is most certainly a great guy. I only use his strings on my Matrix 355.

Got one on order and going to try it out. How was your POI compared to your stock string? Do you need to do a lot of adjusting the scope?

I just shot at a kill zone target. I will post P.O.I. tomorrow but it was close at 40 yds off hand.

Don't you have to shoot the string in maybe 40-50 shots to stretch it in to get the string broke in? Or letting it stretch in a couple of nites with bow cocked does the job? I did both on my stock strings, but not farmilar with these new ones made of diff. materials.

Got it! I keep my string a string's width from the S5 rubber bumpers, about 1 and 1/4 inces set.

I know I'll hear from the dream police about this, but after all your gushing, and the trigger tech posting, it's all good.
