Equinox empresses me

Post by Masboy »

I have tested arrows before in my sons equinox an owned it for a little while an it was always super acurrate same as all my excaliburs . don,t remember but don,t think I ever hunted or shot a deer with it. I put one of my strings on it an been watching the boys shoot it a lot.
an I will say I,m impressed with how fast the arrow gets to the target an the wind drift at 50yds compared to my vixen at 50 yds. but I love my little vixen an a pleasure to shoot all day an carry hunting. sure got me thinking on a matrix for my hunting an our fast deer  mabey I been shooting the slower bows to long. but I see a speedster in my future mabey a 405

I still love my Equinox and it does the job. I like the new Matrix but what can I say my Equinox has never let me down.

X3, I love my ol' exomag, she'll do her part every time if I can do mine. I would like a Matrix just for the compact size though, it would be a lot easier to maneuver around in some of the stands we have. But I'm happy with what I got. :D

I am happy with my Eoxmax but I was wondering,,if D. Miller can cut it down and add a set of the new shorter limbs on the riser of it? Narrower bow would be nice for stalking in tree cut timbered hills I hunt without spending a lot of money for a new crossbow.

Sure would be nice! cutting the rail is no problem but I doubt he would do the limbs? I have done my rails before an easy . but if I had a matrix riser with limbs I would fit it on my vixen if at all possible an be happy

I was thinking if D. Miller could modify the Exomax, maybe put the Matrix 355 limbs on it with the riser cut down and modified for the 355 limbs to fit. I am not sure I would want to constantly shoot the 380 or faster bow as recocking would wear my butt down as the Exomax is a pita after shooting 30-40 times with a rope cocker. Unfortunately,,not getting any younger. :)
