My 2013 Matrix 380 Black out Buck

Hello all , I wanted to show you this buck I harvested last Sunday with my Matrix and TriggerTech Trigger and Boo Custom String. I had a little bit of history with this buck from watching him this summer in velvet and also he made the odd appearance in the fall. But he was not using my property as his home territory . I would go months without seeing him and I would always wonder did somebody else get him. In my area we just completed the annual gun hunt and I wondered who made it and who got harvested , so I checked my camera and guess who was back. I needed a north wind to hunt him and luckily in the forecast it was a north wind over the next few days. I hunted him hard for 2 weeks and he finally made an appearance last Sunday. The first deer that came in was a nice up and comer 2 year old 8 pointer but in the distance I could see this buck making his way towards me. And man was he cautious coming in , while the smaller buck came right in this guy took three times as long as was on pins and needles the whole time. Finally he came in and faced me for like 10 minutes and the anticipation of the shot was overwhelming to say the least. But he eventually turned and gave me a broadside shot ,and with the ease of my TriggerTech Trigger soon a lighted firebolt was on it's way pushed by of course a sweet BooCustomString. What a deadly combination , TriggerTech Trigger , BooCustomString ,Matrix 380 , the outcome is almost not fair lol Well almost. LOL.The rest is history and I was proud to walk up on this giant Buck , Some proper field photos were in order with the snowy background man I love hunting mature whitetails there is nothing better.

Beautiful nice buck. You should be proud of of him. How many acres do you have to hunt on?

I own 75 acres myself , but I hunt on a few farms with about the same acreage on them with the biggest being 125 acres.

How far was the harvest and how far was the kill shot? That is some good area for hunting. You shouldn't run into other hunters then,
