Shoulda Woulda Coulda??

Post by Onetimeonly x--> »

Just a thought, for those such as myself. Knowing now of the new 2014 Matrix coming out soon and you knew they would be coming. Would you have waited for the new bows or are you happy with your better half now :wink:
For me I'm very happy with my decision. Shoot preseason and during the season. Keeping my shots at short range the 355 is more than enough I think. The bow being compact is why I made my purchase, not to say that in a "bow only" option on the '14s could sway me. Just a thought but I'm happy. By the way any and all of the Matrix line is a winner, no bad decision there!!!!

I don't own any Matrix model. Do the new Matrix models have interest to me ? No! I can't justify the $1200 fer the 380, the 355 at $800 is doable in the future. Then when i get too old to cock it by rope i will use the crank, no biggy. I killed some deer this yr wid the old model line as i have fer 15 yrs. Until i purchase the 355 i will continue to kill truck loads of deer in the future

I am grateful that I was able to sell off my 2012 Equinox and purchase my 2013 Matrix 355. I got a great price for my Equinox and a steal for my Matrix 355. I am all set now and I will not be changing anything.

The speed does'nt really interest me but the compactness of the Matrix line makes it very attractive.The new 330 model looks particularily interesting because it is smaller and lighter than my Ibex.

I'm different. I bought a 380 to see what they were all about, then sold it and went back to my Y-25.

It's giving me all the speed I need......... :mrgreen:

Anyone who actually pays retail for anything deserves what they get for being too lazy to do a simple web search. I got my 380 package for something like $960 and free shipping, had the whole shebang 2-3 days after ordering!!! :shock:

Yes it's still a damn good chunk of change, but I only upgrade this type of thing every 10-15 years, so...... :wink: I like places like Cabelas and Bas Pro shop, but despite there claims of "great prices" they are straight retail and always will be. It's pure economics and common sense: if a company insists on sending out 5-10 glossy, color catalogs per year and building ever more high $$$$$$$ retail outlets, they have to charge retail to stay in business!!! 8) :wink:

Vixenmaster I really loved my Vortex till I shot the Matrix and did a side by side comparison of the two. I did end up turning mine into a 330 which they'll have out very soon. My brother has my Vortex and killed his first deer with it also this year.

I assume by having the rail machined and shortened an inch or two?
