Glad to be back
Although I've been back for a week, I had to wait till now to view the forum, at work. The first day back from visiting British Columbia, I tried logging on to the forum, just then my monitor went black and smoke started billowing from my CPU. Oh, boy!!! I've got problems. For sure the power unit is toast, hopefully not my mother board!!!
If you've never seen the Rocky Mountains, I highly recommend doing so. The best part of the trip for me was driving through them. All I can say is AWESOME!!! My wife, kids and I stayed at Fairmont, in a Five star resort, we golfed, played tennis, hit the beach, among many other things. Now I know why they called it B.C. (Bring Cash), a little pricey for me. WE had our hearts set on renting Quads, but for 2 small Quads on a guided 3.5 hour tour, the four of us were looking at $600.00 including tax and insurance. Oh, Well kids!!!! maybe next time.
Very beautiful province you British Columbians have, take care of it.
About 37 more sleeps till deer season.
I'm glad to be back on the forum, now to just catch up on the forum wisdom.
Happy Holidays to those of you that haven't gone yet.

You're 100% correct Claude.
I guess I should of explained myself a little better. I was there on a Time Share, V.I.P. guess pass at Fairmont. This is the closest I'll get to staying at a 5 star resort.
I'm definitely not a 5 star kind of guy. I'd just as soon stay in a rustic cabin in the bush. The drive through the mountains turned me on the most. I could just picture myself hunting Elk, Moose or Big horned sheep.
I love all provinces of Canada, but the politics can stay in the closet. We live in a great country boys!!! You Americans have it pretty darn good also.
Take care and keep hunting.

You mentioned before, Darkhollowarcher, that you live at the top of a mountain, at the head of a dark hollow. This must be a special place, who needs the warm sun in Hawaii. I can hardly wait to retire in the rural countryside.
Red Label if your reading this, I forgot to respond to your thread. Yes, I can hardly wait to meet you and R.J. Remember your both invited to hunt on my place if things are slow down south. I'll bend over backwards to accommodate you guys.
