But usually does more harm than good.
So unless a real serious starvation situation developes they should be left to their own .

I don't typically put out feed. I do put in a small food plot. The deer keep it open until it's all gone.
The area that I hunt is mostly open farmland and a lot of it is no-till.
I do set up a mineral lick which I think is of more benefit in the long run.
