Mine is spiders. From when I was a kid about 12 years old I walked into a spider web and got a yellow and black spider the size of a hockey puck square on the face.

Is there a formula for calculating estimated arrow speed based on arrow weight? The online calculators I've seen are for IBO bow speeds, not sure if or how that would apply to a crossbow. Curious where 375 grains would be, around 390-ish?

We had this cool chronograph setup at the ATA show to show people what our crossbows are shooting speeds as advertised. The 405 was consistently shooting around 409 with a 100 grain tip. We did try it with a 150 grain tip and we lost about 15 fps which is still smoking. We shot the 405 about 4-500 shots over the week and it performed flawlessly. The string was starting to look a little tired but was still serviceable. If you love speed this is your crossbow!

No, that 405 had the same trigger and it never failed or had signs of a potential failure. Safety is the most important factor, we need to make sure all 405 Matrix triggers are safe.

I still have the original trigger. I stopped counting this summer at 800 shots.
