Like I remember?   I don't use coupons! I think it was $515.00. In the US it will be much less. We Canadians are price challenged!

I went with the 3-9 only because it's still very light and with the HHA Optimizer I put on the bow I wanted something for long range shooting. The bigger (40) objective lens just SUCKS UP LIGHT which I love. For shooting in my yard I'll use 3× off hand and up to 6× off the bench. I also like the option of the higher magnification for extended ranges and I wanted to spend some time out at 70-80-90-100 yards. Strictly for target and fun. I want to shoot my animals as close as possible (-40 yards preferably). I have some pics but I don't have photobucket. Send me a pm with your email or cell# and I'll flip over a couple pics of the scope on the 380.

Any problem with parallax in those VXR's at 20 or 30 yards?
I know that Leupold can change the parallax yardage for a small fee and I was thinking of having one changed to 30 yards.

I desperately want a 2-7 VXR for my Ibex. Illumination is the only way to go in a woods hunting situation IMO

I have zero parallax issues with my VX-R 2-7 at short ranges.

3X for hunting and 6-7X for target shooting off a bench. No issues at either setting.
