Some pics of a couple fawns..

Post by Sandman »

I took the kids out to the property this am for some scoutin and a 4 wheeler ride. Took the digital just in case....glad I did!! We were just riding the trails and came over a hill not 50 feet from a doe and her fawn. They bolted into the bush. My kids were absolutely thrilled. I turned around went back to the truck and grabbed the camera. On the way back I spotted these twins poking along I managed to get fairly close to them and I could hear mom snorting and stomping in the bush but the kids were too interested in me and the wind was in my favour. Had a great day and took some other pics that I will post on another thread!

Enjoy.............

Great shot Robin ! Did you get them with your digital ?

We are having the Johnson anual family picnic / swim at my place today .... tied up for the day .... I hope to get out tomorrow for some scouting and trail clearing .... I'm developing a place far back in the AT / swamp .... should be sweet for late season !

RJ: I took them with my digital Sony DCR-PC110.

RL & Wabi: Thanks I think I am going to get a couple of them framed and try to start a wall like RJ's.

BUCKSHOT: I feel pretty lucky to be able to introduce the outdoors to my children as my father had with me!
