Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have been lurking on this great site for quite a while trying to soak up as much information as I could on crossbows. I have been hunting with a bow for about 30 years but the crossbow is totally new to me. As old age sets in and many years of abuse at my job my shoulders are giving me problems so I decided to try a crossbow. So after lots of research about a month ago I purchased what I believe to be the best the Matrix 380 and I am in love with it. So just wanted to say hi and look forward to talking to all of you.

Welcome! You picked the right place for information! There isn't a better bunch of people to chat crossbows and hunting with. I'm not sure why I don't come here very often anymore.

Hi Charlie. WELCOME!!! You're going to love your new 380, great choice. You'll find answers to all your crossbow questions here. This forum is awesome. Everyone is very friendly and helpful so don't hesitate to ask or post. Again, Welcome!

Thanks again everyone for the warm welcome. Boo one of the upgrades I want to do is one of your custom strings so you will be hearing from me. The other upgrade is one of Trigger Techs Matrix hunter 2.5 not sure which order they will be in. Today I am working on building some new BE bolts that I got from Jerry down at South Shore Archery who seems to be a very upstanding guy who really helped me out building carbon bolts which is new to me because I always shot alum. He also dosen't rape you on the shipping.
