Matrix play

Post by strum »

like is says I been playing with the 380 today. :D
I cant find anything to fix on it
it came with a stock EL string and since fightattendent100 was kind enough to send me a miller Flemish I decided to try it out.
right away I can say the Flemish is quieter. not sure about speed but ill be Chrono ing soon . I can say its fast man!!
I realy like the compact design of this bow but im going to have to work on my form some. im hitting pretty good offhand but not where I need to be..no fault of the bow. all my previous bows were the long limb/traditionale stock type so the style is a little different for me. my problem is being able to hold still on the target. what im doing is shooting 30 yards off hand at quarter size pieces of tape. im hitting them maybe 80 percent of the time so that's not to bad.
one thing for sure after a 30 or so shots im feeling it. :D

Stan, the Flemish string Paul sent you gave you 3 ft/sec or so more speed.
What arras are you shooting?

You may not see a marked improvement with the Lazer IIs but it's worth a try. Fire Bolts were meant for hunting not target shooting, but then you know that. I think that the arras are your present limiting factor, it's not like you don't know how to shoot.

I bet you can tell the difference in Arrow penetration in your target with the Matrix, I know I did.

I just purchased a new Matrix 380 have not used it yet. Was wondering on what upgrades are usually done to them. I know I need an extra string , hate not having a spare.
Any help would be appreciated.
