Matrix 355 or 380

Tuesday is the day I purchase either a M355 or M380 going to archery shoppe need to see them and pull them back to see which one I want I have the option to bow xbow only and then add the accessories I want. That's the way it should be and I have my list which is long. Can't wait till Tuesday

That's the way to do it . Shoot both and see which one you like. As for me the 355 has ALL the speed I need matter of fact if the 330 was out I might of chosen that one. But that's me

Razorcut, The 380 already has all of the "bells & whistles" on it. If you buy the 355 and want the ADF & the REDS, you got the price of the 380 ! Your choice. Both awesome bows!! Personal preference. Hawkeyemd

Had a same "problem" and end up with 355.LOVE the bow very much.Added Danny Millers string stops,ADF and I am good to go.Never needed that much speed from 380 is the only reason for my decision.....Either one you get it's a great choice...Good luck:)

If you shop around and get Danny's bumpers instead of the REDS, you can get the 355 fully decked out with all the same accessories for less than the 380. The additional FPS and camo rail comes at a modest additional cost.

Both are very nice crossbows. One gives you a bit more down range energy and the other is a little more comfortable to shoot for longer periods of time. If possible, shoot both and go with whichever fits you best.

Being able to buy the xbow only and then add what I want to it. I don't like the REDS system I thing Danny's bumpers system is better and do not like the tact zone scope so won't have to waste the money on that am going with a Hawke XB30 compact SR 1.5-5x30 mm scope, and can add ADF to the 355 if I go that route and custom string. It all depends on how they pull back 355 or 380. I guess your saying that the 355 is a little quieter than the 380 Yes or No? This coming Tuesday will find out. Will post pics of my decision. I have not had a chance to shoot a "tuned" 380 - flemish string with whiskers, taped stirrup, etc. My guess is the sound difference would not be that great from a 355. There are options now to purchase a bow and build it up as you would like it. This allows people to base their choice on performance and fit factors that most meet their needs.
