Another Newbie from

Post by ianinno »

Well...........thanks to you all i just pulled the trigger on purchasing a new Matrix 355, my first crossbow!
I would like to take the time to thank all of the forum users, who i have been following for months, for the huge amount of valid information that you talk about. it has educated me on the ins and outs of all crossbows and more importantly why i made the right choice buying an Excalibur.
As I said, I have been lurking in the shadows here learning as much as i can and so appreciate the helpfulness and sense of community that you all have created and am proud to be part of it now!!
As a result of taking a lot of advice from everyone here i purchased the Matrix 355 along with the Guardian ADF and a set of Baby Buggy Bumpers. I will start with this set up until i learn more and find out what i like and dont like sooooooo ill have lots of questions for you all in the future!
The Bow is amazing just sitting in front of me never mind what ill think about it when eventually I get to shoot it!!! (currently in a -40 deep freeze for the last two months so not going outside! lol).
So again thanks to everyone here on the forum, Danny M(great product) and to Dawn Douglas at Excalibur for being a amazing front person here in Canada..........look forward to talking with you all in the future and happy shootin!!

Congrats, I just love mine and wouldn't trade it for any other. Btw, don't forget to locktite all the screws, it will save you some trouble down the road.

Welcome iannino. You will love your new bow, they really are scary accurate....and X2 on blue lock-tighting all the screws and bolts. If you don't you'll find yourself back here asking what's wrong with your bow.
You're only paranoid if everyone isn't out to get you.

Congratulations on the Matrix 355 and welcome. I do love mine as well, along with Danny Miller's RBBB's too. I am also waiting for winter to clear, so I can get back to shooting.
