OK let me tell you the truth, the 405 is a beast of a bow. It's speed is mega over-kill. At 13.87" power stroke and 290 lbs draw weight it's synonymous to cocking the draw weight of two Vixen II's. If you have short arms, after cocking the 405, they won't be for long, instead your knuckles will be dragging on the ground.

Yes sir, IMO, anyone who owns a Matrix 405 has got to get their head examined.

Oh btw, did I tell you, I own one and made an appointment to see my "shrink".

It is a beast of a bow. I have cocked the bow several times with a rope cocker but I now only cock it with the C2. Accuracy is the same as any other excal I've had, very accurate. Its all in what you want. I do most of my shooting with the 330 but come hunting season the 405 will pull most of the duty. It has one purpose, hunting and if you use it for that purpose you will love it. One day I like my 330 better and the next I like my 405....summed up they both have a place on the wall.

I prefer the 405 due to the flat trajectory. Here in california we cannot hunt over bait or over food plots. You never know how far or close the shots will be.
