Black Eagle Executioners vs Zombie Slayers

Post by 6x6 elk »

Any preferance between the two for the 380? One more accurate,or more durable than the other? Thanks for any help.

I have both and started with the Excecutioner first to try out my first arrows from Black Eagles and found my best carbon arrow to date out of my 380. When the Zombies arrived to their line up many months later I wanted to try them and compare them to their Excecutioner series. First, I liked the additional stiffness (20-25%) of the Zombies without adding additional weight (9 gr./inch vs 9.1 gr/inch).

Both grouped the same for me but I chose to move to the Zombies series in case Excalibur came out with a faster bow than the 380. I believe that I have the best hunting arrow for my future Excalibur.

I got some Zombie Slayer and like them so far, getting a better grouping than other brand so far.
even though I might just get my 380 cut to a 330 speed

The Zombies are much more durable arrow.
When shooting 380's and 405's repeatedly into 3D targets and rhineharts, you will come to appreciate the extra durability Zombies provide!
