Not sure if anyone else has heard anything about this. But I was at Bass Pro this weekend and got to talking to a gentleman working in there archery department about of course Excalibers. He said there rep was in last week talking to them and told them they are working on some new accessories to quite the beast down. One of the things he mentioned was some type of a pad that will lay between the limb tips and the string. Not sure what the material will be. Like some of you say about putting the mole skin.
Just thought I would pass this on and see if anyone else heard anything

Adding weight to the limbs will slow them down some... how much depends on how much weight is added and where it's added. Think of the Limbsavers... they knock some fps off the limbs due to the added weight, and the closer to the limb tips you get, the more noticeable effect the extra weight will have. Still probably only talking about a handful of fps though.

I will be calling Dave I can see them on my 380 and 330 not red though. I am not to worried about a couple fps. I wonder how much they will quiet it down. The guy I was talking to at Bass Pro was telling me how quite his TenPoint is. So he took me back to the shooting range and shot it and it was quiter but you should have seen all the silencer crap hanging all over it and it must have weighed 12 pounds and very front heavy. No Thanks

I agree to the "no thanks" even if it was a little quieter ..it still isn't silent so whats the point of adding all that mess to it..wonder what he spent ?
