For the last five years, this area where I have been leaving all types of deer licks, and deer cocaine is dugg up so much I'm starting to wonder if I should back fill the spot with some more soil or something. The problem is this area has a lot of flat rock and the deer have dug right down to it.
How do you guys manage your salt plots? Do you keep the holes topped up with sand, top soil, clay or something? Or perhaps there is no point to this and I should leave it alone?
