Level string

Just got my 355 in today. After assembly, the first thing I noticed is that the string makes contact with the rail on the right side and has an eighth above rail on left. Is that acceptable? Or maybe I did something wrong? Lil help someone, please.

Loosen up the bolts that hold the rail, and riser together, wiggle a little to make sure that the rail is in the groove, and tighten back up. Snug front, then back bolts, repeat until tight. If that does not do it, snap a picture, or two and post them.

Is the string supposed to touch the rail or be slightly above?

Nevermind. I did as you said, and the string is now level and slightly touching the rail equally on both sides. Thanks.

When I sight tip to tip down the string on my Equinox there is a slight bend at the rail and the string rides on the rail. FWIW
