Crossbow injury

Post by Steven In Englands wife »

This is Steven in England's wife, I have just come in from A & E, Steven has just fallen on to an arrow with a broadhead on it, which entered into the bottom of his back. He is ok but in a lot of pain and loads of stitches. This still hasn't deterred him from using his crossbows. I was wondering how many other people have had crossbow injuries?
Thanks

Wowee that had to hurt!

That is the first self inflicted one that I have heard of.

Every year we hear of a crossbow or bow accident while hunting.

Tell him also that if you fall off a horse, get back on it.. IOW - Keep right on shooting.

I think that I can speak for the forum here in saying we all really appreciate Steven and his crossbow knowledge.

Tell Steven that he is in our prayers for a quick and complete recovery.

Best wishes for Steve.
My worse injury seems small compared to his - 6 stitches & 2 broken bones on my little finger........ and I haven't put it in front of the string since!

Please pass on to Steven that we are very sorry about his injury. Tell him that at the same time, we are happy that his injury was no more serious than it was. Striper

That's a really terrible thing to happen to someone, must have been a freak accident. I hope he recovers fully, he's a longtime member and contributor to this forum. I've been lucky, the worst problem I've had so far is a sore back from cocking my crossbows.
