M380 to 330 Blackout mod

I really like the Kryptek Typhon camo so I decided to go for it. I stripped down the 380 and replaced the rail by a M330. flat black on silver basecoat with gloss coating for finish. I think I did a good job.
can't shoot with yet as it's not fully dry but had to put it back together

Your work looks nice.

I just wish I could refinish my stock with some product equivalent to the Hogue Overmolded stock (rubber).

I wouldn't care about camo finish, or even the color. I'd just like to have something that grips so nice, and was QUIET.

I suspect that more game was lost because the animal heard a twig or something metal get bumped onto the hard, noisy, surface of the stock, than ever spooked by spotting an uncamoflaged stock. Of course, Overmolding AND camo would be a double bonus.

Not that I'm trying to take away from your work. It looks nice. Self help is wonderful.

my first option was to paint it black and use camo wrap but my big concern was the limbs and wraps. or spending 250$ in a paint shop and not having the crossbow for 4-6 weeks.
I decided to use spray paint and see from there. o far so good, might have to spray more clear coat after time and worst case.... it will end up all black with camo wraps on it

here's another project I've done.
my bow and crossbow stand for outdoor with two bottle(beer) holder.
arrow tubes and the stand are not glued from the base so I can carry it in two pieces and bring it where I want. added some gorilla camo tape on it, make it look better
I need to make another one for a good neighbour as well cause he want one
