I would love to help you out with my Vortex Don but I do not think I could shoot that much in 3 weeks if I tried because of my quadruple bypass heart surgery. Maybe next time I will be in better shape.

I have a table set up with a C2 Crank on my 380, Glad to help if you need me. It's like fishing almost.
Just throw out a couple of hooks, catch the line, reel in, then release!!!
Can do that for hours with no issues at all.

Don

I can test with my 405 if you still need people. Was looking for a project or two during my upcoming holidays.

Thanks Jpjunkie, I will be ordering a string from boo soon. I wanted to last year but my money went to the 380 instead. I am waiting for me matrix string to wear a little first. My stock string has been holding up pretty good so no rush. I also want to get Danny millers version of reds bc they look really durable. I'm from maryland unfortunately but at least the hunting is good here.

Ok, I'm sending the strings out tomorrow. There were 24 people who applied and all that met the criteria will be getting test strings.
The ones who receive a blue and silver should PM me as soon as you see it.
This is a serving test so this thread does not need any comments about the string. Do not wax your string or serving. Some are waxed and some are not. Please keep in mind that this is a test so keep track of your shots.
Shoot at least 300 shots and return the string to Danny Miller. If you got a blue and silver string talk to me before sending in your string. Include a note with your;
name
address
which string you want (endless or Flemish)
which bow you have
how many shots you took
any pertinent or valid comments about the serving.

Side note: out of the 24 players, only 6 were from Canada. Amazing!

Edit to make an instruction in bold and large letters!

Hey Don. I just saw this post. Kinda disappointing only six Canadian shooters. ??? I'd have been glad to help out but need to get my jaws polished by a pro first. Moose and deer season's coming up soon so I better get on that. Great offer.

A question came up on turning the string to get the best serving life or not.
Just carry on like you usually do and include that in your report to Danny.

FYI, the serving material being tested is from BCY. In speaking to Ray Browne at BCY, he tells me it grips well and is very durable. Looking at the material and serving the strings it looks promising. I hope he's right!
