It had died n was started to decay good. Thunderstorm came in on me winds up to 35-40 mph & it snapped.

Yikes! Ma nature choose a big enough hammer for sure.
Yer tougher than oak now.
I live where oaks came in after the logging in the eighteen hundreds and have been unmanaged and some die from crowding and what all.. Multiple times on bluebird, no wind rain or ice days they fall. :shock:
Just time I guess.
