hi folks..can you put a 330 rail on a 380 will it make a 330..with out changeing
the 380 limbs..recovering from hernia surgery here..i do have the c2 crank & a
vixen..just woundering what to hunt with sept 15..380 is great for elepahants &
cape buf just after whitetails.gary

Yes you can swap mainframes. Finding a 330 mainframe may be next to difficult though because Excalibur does not sell them outright. Re machining your 380 to 330 dimensions is another option.

If you plan on on using the C2 crank I would NOT modify the 380. Just a couple of additional cranks each time you cock the CB. JMHO

I will agree with these guys....if you have a C2 there is no need to cut it down or try to find a rail (about impossible). I'd crank away and kill some critters

I'm a crankin for now with NO plains on chopin the 380 down..380 is a tack driver kinda like hunt with a ruger #1 one shots all you need..as for target and messing around I will use my vixen with ageings stock,vixenmaster string,s5 and tt..lifes good here in rhode island..whitetails will be hanging soon..

I did it..sent the 380 rail out to dan miller and milled it down to a 330..took less than a week put the bow back together today sighted it in and went hunting..shoots and hand cocks like a dream plenty fast with a 372gr bee,crossbones scope& 2 stage trigertech..if only they had the matrix330 or a good bowtech(2014) solution 350 back when I bought the 380 I would have went
that way..any way the blacked out matrix has made me happy happy..now to sell the vixen with ageing stock & vixenmasters string and turn that $$$ into a 2014 bowtech 350
