Good advice from all the guys here. The archery shop did him wrong. I spoke with Chris a few times, and everything points to a loose scope, or bad scope. I think he will post back tomorrow with better news!

20" is too long for the 380 and 150gr. field point is a waist

put a dry sight on, you'll know if the scope is the problem
What's a dry sight? On the older xbows, he could have tried a peep and pin........

Don't think there's mounting for a pin sight on the Matrix........

never thought of doing a DIY ?
how easy you think it is to make up something for sight
put a longer screw, glue your allen key in the screwm, attach a rod from one screw to another......
you can make a sight on every weapon if you don't have a scope

I was happy w/ the scope on my Matrix 380. To me, a P&P on a fast xbow is like iron sights on a 220 Swift......

I sold the 380 to Norm on here, didn't see $1k improvement over my Y-25 [which will accept a P&P]

I could tell you lot's of stories about myself and DIY, lol.

Well, Chris is hitting bulls eyes at ten yards, and moving out now. He replaced his scope, and now he is shooting only one arrow to get all dialed in. We will have another happy Excalibur owner amongst us soon! :D

Happy camper now are we! Chris, so glad we didn't loose you buddy. It has been a blast talking with you, and I'm sure that will continue. I hope you enjoy great success this season, i know you have liberal limits on deer, so you should stack them doe, and bucks. There are a few guys on here from N.C., and good men to say the least. Hopefully you meet up with some of them soon, and make some more Excalibur Friends. Once you went with the process of elimination, you were on the road to accuracy!

Spoke with Chris yesterday a few times, he was dialing in at 50 yards, and had cut vanes! He was down to pot luck on arrows late last night too. He had refletched some, and was really enjoying that 380! :D

This should help Chris, don't shoot the same dot!

The Red Flats should here soon, then those killers will look sweet! Post a picture of that baby with the R.R. Scope when you get a chance. I know this cat is killing a deer this fall with that crossbow now!

Good Luck, keep us posted!
