Well....I went out today with both of my boys; Anthony and Christopher. In the zone that we hunt in NJ it is an "earn a buck" zone...so a doe must be taken first...all indications from the camera are the deer are in very early in the morning (while its still dark) or late afternoon...we were in our stands at mid day....It was a long, quiet, boring day posted....the squirrels were absolutely annoying...
Finally at 5:45 I had this small doe come in and I let "Jelly Belly"do her work...loaded with an 18" Zombie Slayer, weighing in at 415G, tipped off with a 100g Spitfire and in the rear a red lumenok...the 20yd shot got her in the boiler room with a massive entry hole along with a nice exit wound....she went but 40yds...
I knew it was a complete pass through but had to search a little for the arra...be it not for the beacon attached to end...it would have been lost for good...
We came home and Anthony and I cut her up and the tender vittles of this doe are resting comfortably in the fridge....
It was a great day all around...hunting with the boys, first 2014 deer, first deer with the M380 (JellyBelly)....and the look on my daughter Angelica's face was priceless...She was so excited that I named the 380 after her....
It just does not get better then this....now if I could only get the picture to work!

PS: There is another part to this day...this morning I got to meet "Pintail" a forum member....as he purchased the Excalibur Green Case for his Axiom...I can honestly say Denis was a joy to meet and I wish we could have chatted more....but I had to meet my son who still needed to sight in his 380...a non issue...20yds bullseye, 30yds-bullseye, 40yds-bulleye and we were done!
