Matrix limbs

Post by randyxx75 »

Hi Guys,
getting a Matrix 380 hopefully today and was wondering if the limbs make it a 380 or is it barrel length (powerstroke), I think I'd like to get a set of 330 limbs and riser if that works, but if it's the power stroke and a shorter barrel is needed then I guess I'd just shoot the 380 sparingly during the off season, thanks !!

The limbs are the same for all Matrix bows, it's the length of the rail that determines draw length and thus the power stroke and speed. You would need get a shorter rail if you want to tame it down for off-season plinking.

Hey Randy, it's all in the stroke. You may want to speak to Pin about his next 330 so that you can have a second lighter bow

C'mon you guys, you break me up. If a lil'old 5' 6" goat like me can cock a 405, just using a rope cocker, you young bucks should be able to cock your lesser Matrix with ease.

Too funny guys !
I actually developed what is called a "frozen shoulder" on my left side (google it) a couple of months ago and had a couple of steroid shots but they didn't help, the ortho surgeon says not much can be done and it should work itself out in 2 years ... great... lol
I can cock most anything, my Vent 150 with short sled, my LS 390 , was just wondering about options for a lot of shooting during the off season ... and it be pleasurable .

send it to dan miller for $70 and mill it down to a 330 ( get the lecture on speed and recurved musc le bows) ..rail will be back in less than a week and you will have a real nice shooter..plus shorter and compact if I was able to id post a picture.

I have a 330 that was cut down from a 405. The front end actually butts up cleaner than my stock 380.

All of this 405 talk is killing me! I want one!
