Swhacker on a Firebolt

Post by flinthead »

100 grain 1.75 Crossbow Swhackers on a stock Firebolt... 367 grains-ish out of my Vortex for whitetail deer. I'm thinking they should be ok... what say you?

The buck last fall and the turkey this spring were not able to express any displeasure with the Fire Bolt and Swhacker combo from my Axiom. Buck made it about 60 yards and the turkey about 20 yards until stone cold dead. You might consider just a light sharpening touchup and good to go.

Well I sure hope so.. cause that's what I've got rigged up on my Ibex!! and also three rigged with slick trick vipers. Both have preformed well for me.. 3" groups out to 30 yards and 31/2" to four at forty. Intend to use the vipers for hogs and smackers at deer. I have to see how they perform on game, but I'm very confident on both......bubba........

These will work fine but the 125's will give you a heavier arrow weight plus they have 2 1/4 cutting diameter. One of my friends uses these with great success cutting some very nice holes.

Although I have said in the past I am not going to use them because I question my bows kinetic energy, they shoot too dog gone good not to give them another try.

125's for me with brass inserts

Ibex bow, boo string set right at the top line

40 yard practice shots are stupid accurate
