I have the opportunity to pick up a 2013 Vortex vari-zone package bow with about a dozen BEE arrows for about $550. Was thinking of using this as a backup to the M380.
Thoughts??

That sounds like a deal worth jumping all over! Let's call a dozen BEE's $100.00 which leaves you the two year old bow + package for $450.00 Ttl.. Awesome deal.

What part of MO are you in? That sounds like a good deal to me. Even if you decide you don't want that "old" bow at that price I am sure you could sell it easily and might even be able to make a few $ to the right buyer. My motto so far has been you can't have too many bows (guns, knives...)

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Vortex (figuratively). Will pick it up Wednesday or Thursday. I ended up paying $575 for the whole package along w the BEE, stringing aid, lube, wax, etc. So I should be all set up (again)!!
