First crossbow Coyote

Post by Carnivorous »

Got this Fawn killer today.

I hunted in one of my stands until 11am then drove over to my other stand to check my game cam. Just before I rounded the corner of the bush I seen this guy nose down eating. I aimed the Matrix 355 and zipped a Big John zombie slayer tipped with the NAP FOC head through him. Needless to say it dropped on the spot. When he went down 2 other yotes took off before I could load another arrow... Oh ya I seen 4 does today but I only have a buck tag & yep I lost another arrow. :)

LOL Did you read my mind?? Jack has it now & should be skinned & drying by now. I have done them before myself & won't do another one. For what he charges its well worth it...

Cheers!!

....nice work BRCBH!....where there is one there are others....nothing like getting rid of those pests....sorry for the lost arrow...now if someone can come up with a nock that not only lights up but either has an audible sound or radio beacon (that's reasonably priced)that would be great!

A good yote is a dead yote, good job. Sucks to waste $20 arrow and broadhead on a dog, especially a male but at least there is one less runnin around.
