Hi Tombuckbull..

The Buck was shot in the PontyPool area ( Just south of Lindsay)Dressed out at 200 & change as far score,, not really sure sorry... We have taken Bigger bodied deer, but this Buck had the nicest rack we have taken 13 pt.
Theres a little story that goes with this Buck,, Before the season opened,Another of our group members was out scouting the area we took this deer and was actually charged by this buck and had to do a header over a fence to get away from him,, cut both his hands open on the fence(Barbed wire & stiches required) trying to avoid the Deer.. He tried to shout at it wave his arms in the air, and the Buck just came right at him,, Buddy said he was in a state of disbeleaf for about 2 days,,, Figured no one would believe him,, But I sure did.. :)
Thanks for posting that Photo Sandman ,, & no I don't mind at all

Sliver, that's one awesome buck. That sure did get me excited. That picture reminds me of hunting here, in Sask. I've gotten a couple bucks like that hunting. Two years ago I came up on two bucks of that caliber that were locked together. One was already dead, half eaten by coyotes and raptors, while the other was alive watching this happen. If Mike and R.J. make it here to my place, they'll see it. I love hunting in the snow with the temperature about -10 to -15 degrees Celcius.

Four weeks to go.
