tree rats

Ok been deer hunting pretty hard but only to see more tree rats than deer. This morning the boy and me decided to take a few of them buggers out. Wouldn't you know it we had deer all around us. like the tree rats where when we was deer hunting. Seen 5 deer all in shooting range.

Well they have a grapevine system n knowed when you leave the house & when you change weapons

Lol. That seems to be the way it goes. Have you thought about bringing a .22 rifle with you to your deer stand? You can purchase and sight in with Ultra Low Velocity ammo which we call silent ammo. It's quieter than a pellet rifle so you can plunk squirrels all day without making noise.

Anthony, i don't understand. Are rifles not allowed for squirrels? If they are then the ammo should be fine. It's just close range ammo traveling slower than the speed of sound. Please enlighten me.

Just a guess, but some states do not allow you to be afield with a bow and a gun at the same time. Even though each of them are legal by themselves for certain game, they aren't legal together. That is the case in West Virginia.

It is not legal to have both bow and gun afield at the same time here in michigan Other than carrying under the ccw counseled pistol permit.
