excaliber exocet 165 upgrade

Any one know what the cost to have new limbs on a Exocet 165 with carved limbs to the newer limbs and will it increase my speed any. Also will the new scope mounts fit the old bow?

If yer carved tip limbs are bad then they will replace them with the newer Mag tip limbs. You would shoot close to 300fps if you put the optional Flemish D97 string on it from Danny Miller or a Custom string from one of the several good string makers here on the Forum. Speed is est. with 350gr arrow weight

A call to Excalibur may produce Magtip limb seconds (slight paint blems) at a reasonable cost. On average you will pick up 5 fps and more if you use a FFF string with the Magtip limbs.

i own an 165 Exocet, for 80.00 i bought what Excalibur here in Kitchener Ontario Canada classify mag tip limbs as seconds( have a blemish in the dipping process in the camo) . put the mag tip limbs on and put on the 80.00 scope mount with adf and a 40.00 custom fff string. it is now my youngest sons first excal. deadly accurate to 50yrds with an excal varizone scope.total cost for all the upgrade was $ 200.00
