Heck, why bother to order online? Just stop in at your dentist next time you're out and about and get some.

I got mine off eBay. I asked my dentist and he told me to get them on the Internet. Lol . I use them on my Rage Extremes. With the new cam locks I probably don't need them. It's a comfort thing. Eases my mind a little. I don't know why, I have never had a Camlock Rage open prematurely with my Matrix bows. I do it anyway. I always buy the little guarantee extensions on the electronic things I buy too and have never used them. I'm just anal that way. Mental comfort I call it. Adds to confidence. Since I am too old to draw a vertical bow, I shoot crossbows, Excal of course, that old confidence thing. Shoot the best and do your best and don't worry about your equipment. Cheers

I guess I never really took notice, but my dentist office also offers orthodontic services, so I guess that is why they also have the dental bands.

I used to use dental bands on my NAP Spitfires. Not that I had a problem with them, but just wanted the extra assurance they wouldn't open early.

When they went through a deer, the band would slide back onto the shaft all the way to the fletching and tear the front edges of it off. That meant a one-use arrow.

Now I tie a piece of light cotton thread around the closed head and trim off the ends. Works for me, as it breaks free upon entry.

Big John constructed 18" Zombies, AL inserts, plastic moon nocks, helical Blazers,FOCs have proved extremely accurate in both my 380 & 405. Will test between flat and moon nocks on next set. In theory, the more uniform the back of a projectile(in particular a bullet) the more accurate it is. A flat nock is much more uniform than a moon nock. We shall see with all the same except the nocks. I shoot to 100 yds. Should show up by that range.
Big John back to making arrows yet? My wife(and I) went thru the same 11 years ago. She's in great health now. Pray the same for them.
