Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
Read this thread and took the plunge. They currently have 25% off of orders of $45 or more. So two 3 packs plus shipping was only ~$47. Hope to have them for next week. Be interested in how the POI will change going from plastic nocks to these on my Zombies.
I actually like the 39grains as that will help make my Micro arrows a little heavier.
Wait......why do I have Micro arrows but no Micro. I need to fix that..

Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
Anthony with regarding the luminoc and how far off it shot. When watching g it go down the range I could see it doing some fishtailing. That bothered me a good bit. I am going to try the luminoc again and see if I do get any kind of consistency. But seeing that arrow going g back and forth concerned me. Didn't think crossbows did that.
just hope these do much better. I am just glad I have almost nothing much invested with luminoc.

Brian...in all fairness I have not done that much testing....I can't imagine with a little tweaking they should not fly just as beautifully...remember with the Ignitors you are carrying 11g in the tail end more than the lumenoks..there could be a change in POI with no tweaking...I just love how simple they work...In the end, if I find a tremendous unacceptable difference requiring major upheaval than I would go back to Lumenoks...
My plan however is a set up with the Ignitors on the Micro 335 and stay with the Lumenoks on the M380...but only time will tell...
I am interested in your further research...as an aside I am only looking to test to 50yds...In zone 4 its hard to get a further shot....

Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
Brian....I just reread your posting....you are questioning the Lumenoks...I have practiced a great deal with the Lumenoks and we killed 4 deer with them this year, including my son Christopher's big 8 in the early season..That's three different hunters in our family using them with no complaints....We have found them to fly true...have you spun tested the complete setup just to make sure everything is straight?....not assuming anything!...just trying to help...Talltines wrote:Anthony with regarding the luminoc and how far off it shot. Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
Anthony I am shooting ZS. 18" with 170 gr. Field points to resemble FOCs. Now I have to say i have only shot 1 arrow with the luminoc . See i only bought one nock mistakenly when I ordered my ZS s from Jerry at Southshorearchery. I thought i was buying o n e nock on EACH arrow. Lol. But with the one arrow I shot I could sware it was fishtailing down range. I am going to pull that one nock and put it in another ZS and see if there is a difference or not.
Thanks for the offer and will keep you in mind.

Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
Just placed an order for 6 Nu Fletch lighted nocks @ 25% off. I plan on using the plastic bag method to insert them into my new Black Eagle Zombies when I get them. After reading about Nu Fletch lighted nocks and watching some videos I have decided to give them a try. This will be my first attempt at using a lighted nock on an arrow. They appear to be very well designed. Along with this thread and Tom Mirandas' endorsement of them I could not resist. Thanks guys!

Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
...I am happy to report that I removed the nock from the "Quill" which came with the Micro 335...and inserted the Nu-Fletch .300....will fit like a charm with the grocery bag method...I am very happy with that and will be equipping all of my Quills for the Micro 335 with them until I find an issue otherwise...

i tried the nufletch on my mega 405 and they dry fired. eventualy the limb broke. and use the diablo arrows with a 100 grain spitfire maxx. has anyone else had this problem. i have a trigger tech trigger
Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
Sounds like something else was going on to cause the DF ..., the ignitors are exactly the same as the lumenoks but for the much simple way of extinguishing. The light and the additional 11 g in the tail...ronhonest wrote:i tried the nufletch on my mega 405 and they dry fired. eventualy the limb broke. and use the diablo arrows with a 100 grain spitfire maxx. has anyone else had this problem. i have a trigger tech trigger

Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
Now I am worried about my 405. My 405 has been perfect in every way.ronhonest wrote:i tried the nufletch on my mega 405 and they dry fired. eventualy the limb broke. and use the diablo arrows with a 100 grain spitfire maxx. has anyone else had this problem. i have a trigger tech trigger

don't know if ishould try them but they look great.
This can't be something about the 405 in general my hope it's his personal bow that had the issue and not a 405 issue.
Ron. I am not meaning that I hope you do have an issue. If that makes sense.

Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
not at all, that is what the forum is all about, to learn. if it is an issue with me than i can benefit from any feed back
Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
Ron have been shooting these on my 405 for testing with no issues noted. I have not done any range work at all but just garage testing so far. I am impressed enough with these nocks that I just went all in on these and ordered 4 bags and 5 extra batteries for them. My Christmas present from my wife and she doesn'teven know she got them for me.
hope you got you issue taken care of Ron
