I smoked a pipe for a little while. Still have some.. Also have some that used to belong to a great uncle of mine. I used to to get a kick out people doing a double take when they see a mid thirty year old smoking a pipe. I went to the Dominican Republic and the locals starting calling me "peepa" everytime I went to the bar for a drink.

I really hoped peepa meant pipe!!

Hmm. I've got a hankerin now

Not a pipe smoker myself but my father was. I have a couple of his old pipes and despite the fact that he's been gone for 21 years those pipes still smell like they were smoked just yesterday. :)

I used to smoke a pipe. I made a hobbit pipe last year, just for fun. I always hated cigars, but recenlty realized I hated 'cheap' cigars, the better stuff doesn't actually smells like burnt old socks

I went the cigar route for a little while before trying a pipe and couldnt go back for some reason afterwards.

That and from a money to enjoyment ratio standpoint, a pipe and tobacco compared to a cigar is longer and continually returning as opposed to a cigar which is one and done

I smoked a pipe on a daily basis about 40 years ago. It ruined my teeth since I would hold the pipe in my mouth and the pressure on the teeth moved them. But it was about 35 years ago that I quit tobacco products altogether, and did it cold turkey.
