hey yall, i have been reading the forum for some time now and decided to join in. i live in alabama and hopefully on september 9 they will fully legalize crossbows here. i have done many things with archery in my life, i have hunted with compounds since 1990 and also shoot longbows and recurves. i am an avid bowfisherman so i keep a bow in my hand pretty much year round. i bought a barnett revolution last month and was very dissapointed in it -- the weight, the noise, the trigger, and the sighting mechanism. i took it back and decided to look around. then i found this site. i must say you folks sold me on excalibur. so now i am the proud owner of a second hand vixen and love it . there is no comparison. thanks for helping me make my decision.
