I'd argue that if someone buys a compound crossbow, they have already settled for less.onequillkid wrote: Well since excaliburs are the best recurve's if you are going to buy a compound crossbow why settle ?![]()
Not me!!!!onequillkid wrote:I agree 100%, I just wanted to read some of the replies to this subject for free entertainment. It's amazing to me how fast some of the excalibur owners and members on this forum are ready to turn there backs on recurves and go compound.![]()
I would certainly consider the purchase of one of them if'en it had Excals name on it. The other half Bowtech has very poor Customer service period n i would never lay down a dime fer it!Excalibur Marketing Dude wrote:Specs on the new Offspring will be published shortly. Some aspects of the design are still in the works but should be ready for production in the spring sometime. I'm obviously not much of a compound crossbow guy considering I have been working at Excalibur for 12 years. But I have to say the Offspring is a nice shooting crossbow and very quiet.
Think of the Offspring as the new Paradox since that's pretty much what it is. So, if you're an Excalibur shooter that just wants to have a compound crossbow in your arsenal, this is your bow. Since its half Excalibur it wouldn't be cheating.![]()
