I honestly dont need to hush up my Micro. Its pretty darn quiet out of the box. I will add some air brakes to try out. I wouldnt be puttin anything not approved behind my limbs....

I agree. I don't know what people are talking about. I would never describe the micro as loud.

x2......In fact I was thinking of adding a Shofar that would sound as my arrow was launched....because, inside of thirty yards, noise or no noise (from the bow) these deer have not a chance....thought the sound of a Shofar would be real cool as my arrow hit the deer!

Ya, I heard about this at the ATA show. If you want to make your Matrix or Micro crossbow make less noise, try our new dissipator bars...sorry, "Air Brakes" they work way better than I thought they would. Must be that the longer bars go further down the shorter limbs making them more affective. They even calmed down the 405! You need to hear the difference to believe it.

I can tell you the buck I shot the other day at almost 30yds didn't hear the bow before he was bleeding profusely. So I wouldn't consider it loud either. However, if you do some tests and find it to be substantially quieter, I'd look into it. Good luck.
