I sure hope it is a "done deal". As it is I will continue to push as hard as I can for the full xbow inclusion until I hear the final whistle. Then we may just have to have a good ol southern celebration. I think it will be a huge positive leap forward for hunting in MO. I hate being thought of as "ol backwater MO" while our neighbors AR and IL took the plunge some time back.

Don't let up, round up as many folks as you can to give their positive xbow comments on the MSC site. If the verticals can raise 700 surely we can at least double, if not triple that.

....come on fellow Excalibur Bow Hunters....I can not believe that there hasn't been more of a response from all of the active forum members..

...I am Blessed to have the privilege to hunt the entire archery season in New Jersey using my Excalibur's... I want to see others who do not have same privilege obtain it....We are not only fighting the anti's here but others who, either do not have an open mind or have not gotten to the point in their lives where they can no longer use traditional or compound bows...

....it is time to support our brothers and sisters....

I may have misunderstood but I thought they were just reducing the number of antlered deer (bucks) that you could take. That would still us to take 2 but only allow one antlered and one antlerless.

I have also been rounding up any friends and family that I can talk into leaving comments with the MDC. The more the merrier! Those that frequent other crossbow friendly sites please pass the word.

For those out of state folks, they are also looking for comments regarding the cost of out of state deer tags.

They want to allow only one Buck durin the 4 month archery season & 2 Doe's. Then they allow us one Buck durin Firearms season & 2 Doe's. 6 deer jus 2 Bucks.I don't want them to have 2 youth hunts in prime Nov. rut, thats BS!

I am a trad hunter... i compete and hunt with a recurve and don't hate compound or crossbow hunters. Neither do the 7 regular trad guys i shoot with. Probably the most down -to-earth folks you could meet.

Just dropped Mo.my humble thoughts, hope it helps. Don't know if the res. of MO. will agree but I think their out state price is a little high. At least compared to my home state.
Have a blessed day

Yes the price for an out of state tag varies considerably, but $225 seemed a bit high to me as well.
