New nightmare at the shop

Post by NCmtns380 »

Got a chance to hold a new Nightmare at Grashal Outdoors today in boone NC. Definately tiny and good thing I just got my 380 finally together. Now just waiting for my Cube Hybrid target to show up. Picked up some limbsaver material while I was there to quiet the stirrup down a bit. The local excal rep dropped it off but it may be some time before they start showing up. Definately the most compact setup I've seen....

My opinion your 380 is the best of the best, i would never second guess on a 335.......

Just wanted to post that it was arriving shortly here in the mtns of NC. That's how I replaced the exomax with a 380. I went to the shop to get some more firebolts and Mike handed me a 380. Bout a week later the Matrix 380 was mine and the exomax found a home with one of my coworkers at GE. Sold the 1st 380 at the end of that season since I bought a V-rod to keep up with my 73 yrs young dad and his R1 powered reverse trike. After the 2104 season with no archery equipment means no sunday hunting for me in NC. That's why the 2nd Matrix 380 is here. I was thinking of getting a micro for my dad who just had his left shoulder replaced but we'll see once he finishes with his physical therapy. The nightmare is a neat little unit but I'm more than happy with my 380.

NC, if your dad has some shoulder problems that 335 micro has a 270 pound draw weight 10 more pounds than your 380, I know its a shorter draw length, but still takes some meat to pull it back, maybe a 330 matrix? I really like that camo pattern. Good luck to ya..........
