You think we can get together some time and help me get this this xbow running smoothly and sighted in?
Absolutely. As soon as this westher breaks and spring starts to show. I can see if there is room in the barn to set up to 30 yards but will most likely be tight for another month full of equipment.

The plan for the release of the MICRO was to include the Dead Zone. Varizones were included until recently...............must have been a supply chain problem. Just bought a Micro from Gagnon's in Oshawa and it has (had) a Dead Zone with it. I had an extra Tact Zone, so I put that on instead and I have the Dead Zone for sale on the Trading Post. Varizone vs Dead Zone..........I would keep the Dead Zone.

my micro has a grove machined into the rail for the brace height. It is about 1/4 inch below toward the trigger side. Should this be adjusted or will string stretch with use?

....nope Joeyf...shoot it as is...you will find that it will stretch...in fact some like to keep their string right where you have it now....

....I do not believe that it affects power/speed...maybe someone else will chime in..the string will stretch somewhat...by keeping it where it is and just shooting as is...you are in effect preloading the string...some people, including me, keep the cocking rope on my bow with hooks attached....what you do not want to happen is the string falling below the mark on the rail ( toward the stirrup)...
...I am not an expert here...but that is my understanding from a safety perspective ...keeping the string no lower than the mark on the rail...
